Soon after reaching the ridge, there were some shepherds who invited me to join them for food. They gave me some bread and cheese and tea and we had some laughs together. They were really surprised about me being there.

I was eager to try out something else. To put myself to a test. To find something more challenging. And the TCT exactly strokes the note. There was something alluring, mystical and adventurous to be one of the very first people hiking on these exact trails.
By that evening we reached our first wild camping beach. Bahia de Los Angeles.
We noticed a group of coyotes lurking around our campsite in the evening. There were six of them looking out for food and they came uncomfortably close from time to time.
